Kingsley village sweet trees

This week at Partini has been a very productive week indeed.

Since the launch of our fabulous Sweetie trees they have gone from strength to strength.

We approached a lovely retail outlet called Kingsley village that promotes all things Cornish and handmade and they loved our sweet trees soooo much that they want to sell them in their store.

We made our first delivery on Saturday morning, so lets hope they sell as well as our website has been.

We have also launched our new facebook page with its own Facebook shop which all of our customers are loving.

These are some of our Sweetie trees on the candy village counter in Kingsley village.

You can still purchase these our any of our pages but to avoid delivery please visit this fabulous shop.

thats all for today folks, will be back on soon :)

Wedding photography

Todays blog comes from the lovely Blue skyes photograpy.
Here you will find some great tips and what YOU should expect from your wedding photographer.
As always your comments are much appreciated.

I set up Blue Skyes photography after having my first daughter, I previously worked as forensic photographer and needed a change and something that fitted in with family life, I started wedding photography after hearing so many horror stories from friends about their own weddings with rude / bossy photographers or photographers that didn’t do what they said they would, or had lots of hidden charges.

And so I set up Blue Skyes with the aim of being practical, affordable and honest, we offer a range of packages and flexible payment options ensuring that everyone can have the photography they want without worrying about big bills.

Since starting wedding photography I have also done lots of event photography, corporate photography and promotional photography for many local businesses.
I also take newborn keepsakes photos, bump to baby photos, location photos, christening, birthday and family photos, and I really enjoy doing it!
My top advice for anyone booking a wedding photographer would be:

1, Get everything confirmed in writing.

2, Ask about hidden costs such as extra time / fuel.

3, If you want to print more of your pictures, ask how much a CD will cost and how many images will be on it.

4, Ask to see your photographers insurance policies – including professional indemnity – If they don’t have one – don’t book them.

5, Ask to see examples of exactly what you will get for your money, especially photobooks.

6, On your wedding day your photographer is going to be your best friend, capturing what you want to see forever so don’t just pick someone because there cheap – pick the one you like.

Number six is most important, you have to spend the most important day of your life with your photographer so make sure you can get along with them, if your not happy having a male capturing you getting ready then pick a female instead.
Try and pick your photographer from a friends recommendation, and ask to see their photobook.
